The included mats have an impressive heat output of 50 watts per square foot for dependable and efficient snow melting performance. It includes an automatic, configurable snow melting controller with several different operation methods. The control offers a manual override option and an adjustable hold-on timer, which allows heater operation for up to 8 hours after the precipitation event ends to ensure evaporation of the melted snow. This kit also includes an NEC-required plaque and an aerial-mounted snow sensor that provides versatile and cost-effective automatic snow detection.
